Integration involves much more than simply generating a consistent
message across multiple channels. At Thread Information Design,
integration lies at the core of our four-phased methodology
for arriving at the right solution for your business challenges.

Discover
We begin each new project or relationship with an intensive Discovery Phase. We customize elements of the Discovery Phase for each unique situation. These elements may include goal setting and metrics, primary and secondary research, field trips, executive retreats, brand audits, technology assessments, media preferences, competitive analyses, workflow analyses or virtually any appropriate information-gathering technique.
Plan
Effective tactics always begin with an effective plan. How does a given tactic fit with our overall business goals and our budget? Are we executing the right tool at the right time and in the right sequence for our market? Have we looked at all available options from an integrated perspective? While it is tempting to jump right to tactics, our clients enjoy tremendous savings in time and money by planning before they act. The resulting plan becomes both a flexible road map and an enduring litmus test for what we do; it ensures consistency, relevancy and practicality and includes goals, strategies, measurements, tactical overviews and timelines.
Produce
This is the implementation phase, where the rubber meets the road. Sites are developed, media contacts are initiated or collateral is published. Frequent meetings, checks against production milestones and regular progress reports maintain open communication. A central component of the Produce Phase is our proprietary Online Project Log. To keep a dynamic record of the project process and history, we give each project a dedicated site to which client and agency team members can log on to add or edit tasks.
Manage
Because plans and projects are dynamic in nature, the end is also the beginning. The Manage Phase is an opportunity to revisit initial goals and metrics and evaluate our success. Studying points of deviation from a plan and opportunities for improvement provides tremendous insight into your company and your customers. We've designed the Manage Phase to maximize opportunities both at hand and down the road.
